The idea of creating an investment credit and export credit insurance agency to Islamic countries is due to the agreement on the promotion, protection and guarantee of investments between the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Setting a reading intention helps you organize your reading. You can filter from the list based on playback intentions and view them in your profile. Your reading intentions are also recorded in your profile in order to keep them in the future. The driving force behind the agreement as a whole and the creation of ICIEC was to strengthen economic relations between OIC member countries on the basis of Islamic shari`ah. Your reading intentions are private for you and are not displayed by other users. The agreement provided that the OIC, through the Islamic Development Bank, would create an Islamic insurance company, acting according to the shari`ah principles, to provide insurance products for investments and export credits. If you set up reading intentions, you can organize your course reading. It`s easy to scan through your lists and track progress. Here is an example of what they look like: following the agreement, the IsDB Group Board of Governors, at its 16th annual meeting in Tripoli, Libya, in Sha`ban 1412H (February 1992), approved the statutes of the Islamic Investment and Export Credit Insurance Corporation (ICIEC) and declared their creation. Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) is a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. ICIEC was founded on 1 August 1994 (24 Safar 1415H) as an international legal institution.
